Daytona Beach in Florida has very hard packed sand that people used to race motorsports on about 50 years ago.  The city then decided to build the Daytona International Speedway, the mecca for NASCAR fans.  Daytona Beach is a tourist spot and the meeting place where tons of people get together for bike week.  The beach sand in Daytona is pretty fine with a warmth hue.
